Reporting To: Underground Foreman
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner to meet production deadlines
- Conduct pre-trip/walk around inspections
- Check fluids daily and fill as required
- Operate track loader to backfill trenches, prep site for services, other duties as required
- Confidently operate track loader in close proximity to ground personnel and existing utilities
- Operate track loader to move soil, rocks and debris
- Demonstrate an understanding of grades; experience cutting, and digging to grade
- Maintain cleanliness of equipment and report/log any maintenance requirements
- Daily cleaning of tracks at the end of every shift
- Follow direction from supervisor
- Follow all health and safety policies and conduct trench work that follows all OH&S requirements
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a track loader operator
- CSTS, ground disturbance
- Must pass a drug/alcohol screening
- Must have own means of transportation
- Valid class 5 driver’s license

WATER & SEWER LABOURER
We are currently seeking to add a Full-time Seasonal Water & Sewer Labourer to our team in the Edmonton area. Applicant must be able to lift 50lbs, pass a drug/alcohol screening, and have their own means of transportation. Experience with underground water and sewer replacement and working around and with heavy equipment is considered an asset. Applicant must be able to work evenings, weekends, and overtime when required.

Title: Water & Sewer Labourer

Responsibilities & Duties:
- Assist crew members with prep and cleanup of pipe installation
- Wide variety of physical tasks; shoveling, material handling, assembling sand bags, etc.
- Housekeeping of jobsite to uphold standard requirements
- Operate plate tampers, jumping jacks and hand tools
- Inspection of all tools prior to each use
- Ability to perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms, legs, body movements; lifting, climbing, walking stooping, etc.
- Other tasks that may be required
- Understand and follow direction from supervisor and ground crew
- Follow all health and safety policies and conduct trench work that follows all OH&S requirements
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience with underground water & sewer replacement is considered an asset
- Experience working with and around heavy equipment is considered an asset
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Good communication skills
- CSTS, ground disturbance
- Must pass a drug/alcohol screening
- Must have own means of transportation
- Thorough understanding of construction site safety practices
